Job Title: Junior Process Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Process Engineer with a strong background in one of the following disciplines; mechanical, chemical, or industrial engineering. The ideal candidate will assist in monitoring, analysing, and improving production processes across our syrup, germination, spray drier plants and milling facilities. This role provides hands-on experience with process
operations, data analysis, and product development, contributing directly to operational efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Process Monitoring: Track and record process parameters including flow rates, air pressures, temperatures, and timings in the syrup, germination, spray drier plants and milling capabilities on equipment and efficiency monitoring aligning to specifications
ensuring optimal performance and compliance with standards.
• Data Capture and Analysis: Collect operational data from processing areas; perform analysis to monitor yields, throughput, and efficiency. Generate reports and recommendations for process improvements.
• Process Improvement Support: Assist in identifying, evaluating, and implementing process improvements in day-to-day operations and new projects. Collaborate with senior engineers and production teams to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Research and Development: Participate in R&D initiatives for new products and processes, including laboratory trials, pilot tests, and process optimization.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of operational parameters, experiments, and process changes. Prepare technical reports and present findings to senior engineers and management.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with food safety and quality, health and safety, and environmental regulations. Support the implementation of best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, statistical software, or process monitoring systems).
• Basic understanding and operational function of process equipment is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

CONCLUSION
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be computer literate, calculator, and telephone. Frequent sitting, talking, hearing, walking and occasionally stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift and ability to adjust vision for close vision work. Occasional exposure to airborne dust, high humidity, and extremes of hot and cold are possible.
