As part of the membership application process, we collect information including your title, first name, surname, gender, date of birth, nationality, your qualifications, home and work contact details (phone, email, address). We also collect some employment including where you are currently employed, your job title. For some grades of membership, we ask you to identify a referee and to provide contact information for them. 

The personal information we hold is stored electronically and used to perform the activities and processes needed to service our members and customers, in accordance with their permission. Where necessary, for the completion of certain processes, communication activities and/or legal obligations we may share personal information with third parties, based on consent received from the individuals and in accordance with data protection regulations.

We respect your privacy and your right to a choice, including a choice on when and how we contact you, along with your choice to be forgotten. We don’t sell or share your details with third parties, unless you have given us consent to do so and or we have a legal obligation to do so.

Some anonymous information about you may be automatically collected by SAIChE. This information may include: your browser type, access times, referring web site addresses, and viewed pages. It is used by SAIChE to improve our service, and to generate general aggregate statistics about the use of the SAIChE website.

No other information is collected by SAIChE without your knowledge. We will not pass on any individual user details we may have obtained, automatically or with your knowledge, unless we have your prior consent.
